Deputy Minister in the Presidency responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluation, youth development and administration, Buti Manamela will speak to young people at the "Youth Futures” workshop. The workshop will discuss the draft National Youth Policy 2015-2020 as part of the consultation process.
The aim of the national youth policy consultation process is to mobilise the nation behind youth development as the policy can be successfully implemented if it has the full support of young people and society as a whole.
"Youth Futures” will be a facilitated discussion that will stimulate different views on the critical challenges facing South African youth, a review of the policy and a synopsis of the policy interventions that are currently proposed in the draft policy.
