Announcement of Water Restriction in Western Cape
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) cordially invites the media to a briefing to be held on Wednesday 15 June.
The key objective of the media briefing is to announce the upcoming water restrictions to be implemented in the Western Cape Province. The major dams supplying the Western Cape Water Supply System (WCWSS) have been severely drawn down over the past year due to high demand and lower-than normal rainfall experienced over the period.
