Detective Services responds to Mail & Guardian

The Detective Service of the South African Police Services would like to
place on record that all issues raised on pages two to four of today's edition
of the Mail& Guardian:
* have already been the subjects of comprehensive police
investigations
* have been finalised
* have been handed over to the applicable authority
* were conducted without any influence having been exerted over the
investigating officers before, during or after the investigations.
