Corporate Update gala dinner

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will tomorrow, Friday, 22 June 2007,
deliver the keynote address at the Black Management Forum's (BMF's) Corporate
Update Gala Dinner to be held at the Emperor's Palace.
The gala dinner is a networking event on the South African business calendar
bringing together the private and public sector at a mainly networking
gathering. It will provide the BMF the opportunity to reflect on achievements
and give a corporate update on the organisation's activities. The dinner will
also provide an opportunity to share in the presentation of the BMF
Presidential Awards.
The Deputy President is expected to update the gathering on the state of
transformation in South Africa; highlights of the Accelerated and Shared Growth
Initiative for South Africa (AsgiSA) and the Joint Initiative on Priority
Skills Acquisition (Jipsa) achievements and the challenges of resolving the
skills mismatch amongst other issues.
