The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor, MP, will officially release
the 2006 Senior Certificate (Matric) results on Thursday, 28 December 2006, at
the Imbizo Centre, 120 Plein Street, Parliamentary Buildings in Cape Town.
The results will also be transmitted through a satellite link to the
Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) offices in Pretoria,
situated at Cnr Vermeulen and Prinsloo Streets, Room 710, 7th Floor.
The announcement of the results will begin with the technical briefing by
the Director-General of the Department of Education, Mr Duncan Hindle. This
will be followed by the Minister's address which will be transmitted live on
SABC TV between 13:00-14:00.
