Minister Angie Motshekga takes Second Chance matric support programme and Read to Lead to Secunda in Mpumalanga

The Basic Education Minister, Mrs Angie Motshekga will on Friday, 25 January 2019 take the Department’s #Read2Lead and #SecondChance Programme to the   Khotso Tsotetsi Lapa, eMbalenhle, Secunda, Govan Mbeki Municipality in Mpumalanga.

Through the Second Chance Programme, the Department of Basic Education is inviting all candidates who have previously not met the requirements of the National Senior Certificate as well as those currently in matric to take advantage of the specially designed #SecondChance Matric Support Programme.

Some of the following stakeholders that will also exhibit their programmes at the roadshow include the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) who will give career guidance and Vodacom who will exhibit the e-School and how to register for free and access the programmes available to learners for free.
