Department of Employment and Labour in Limpopo to embark on a work seeker registration drive and taking services to the people campaign
The Department of Employment and Labour in Limpopo will embark on a work seeker registration drive and taking services to the people campaign in Sekhukhune district from 10 – 13 July 2023.
The work seeker registration drive is led by the Public Employment Services (PES) unit, with the aim to educate work seekers on the free services offered by PES.
During the drive, work seekers will be registered on the departments’ Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database which matches candidates with available job opportunities registered in the system. The departmental officials will guide and educate work seekers on how to interact with the system, preparing a winning curriculum vitae (CV), handling job interviews, enhancing their employability, and offer career counselling. Work seekers are encouraged to bring along their CVs.
Alongside the drive, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be assisting community members with the processing of UIF applications, claims assessment, processing payments and resolving enquiries.
Clients are encouraged to bring along their ID or passport, completed UI-19 form, UI 2.8 form, and salary schedule.
