Tshwane: Transport Minister Jeff Radebe will deliver a keynote address at
the 26th Annual South African Transport Conference (SATC) under the theme, "The
challenges of implementing policy," on Monday 9 July 2007.
The aim of the SATC is to bring together expertise in transport
infrastructure planning and services, paving the way to address the increasing
transport demands caused by economic growth.
The following key topics will be discussed during the conference:
* transport planning
* public transport
* traffic engineering
* traffic management and safety session
* rail and transport logistics and dangerous goods.
