gymnasts from Limpopo to the 13th World Gymnaestrada

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is proud to be sending a group of
gymnasts from Limpopo to the 13th World Gymnaestrada to be held in Dornbirn,
Austria from Sunday, 8 to Saturday, 14 July 2007.
The team consists of 53 participants, 34 of whom were selected from various
hubs in the districts of Limpopo through Sport and Recreation's Siyadlala Mass
Participation programme and 19 hailing from the Limpopo Gymnastics Federation.
This team also participated in the national Gymnaestrada held in July 2006 in
Pretoria.
The group further consists of 13 coaches, managers and government officials,
who will be accompanying the young team. The department is furnishing the group
with apparel, transport, accommodation etc. MEC Joyce Mashamba will be
officially sending off the team during a function to be held as follows:

Please confirm your attendance!
The MEC will address the gymnasts, their parents, coaches and managers and
the group will also be displaying their routine for the Gymnaestrada. The team
will then join the national team on Thursday, 5 July, for a pre-departure
training camp.
