North West MEC for Public Works, Honourable Howard Yawa, will deliver the
keynote address at the Certificates Awarding Function for 300 Expanded Public
Works Programme (EPWP) beneficiaries to be held at 11h00 on Thursday, 23 March
2006, at Witrand Hospital Hall in Potchefstroom.
The beneficiaries are part of the 2 737 beneficiaries that acquired skills
in construction and life skills during the execution of 59 Expanded Public
Works Programme Projects in the Southern Region.
According to the EPWP Third Quarterly report, the North West Province has
thus far created 13847 job and training opportunities for the unemployed.
