Minister Fraser-Moleketi to address an annual Fraud
Conference

The Minister for Public Service and Administration, Ms Geraldine
Fraser-Moleketi, who also serves as the Chairperson of the National
Anti-Corruption Forum (NACF), will deliver a keynote address at the Institute
of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA) annual Fraud Conference on Monday,
24 April 2006.

To be attended primarily by internal auditors and forensic investigators
from government and corporates the conference will seek to provide practical
tools and resources that will empower participants to proactively fight fraught
and corruption.

The Minister's speech will focus on "the role of the NACF in protecting the
public interest." The NACF was established in April 1999 as a ‘non-statutory
and cross sectoral’ body to ‘contribute towards the establishment of a national
consensus through the coordination of sectoral strategies against
corruption.’
