Premier Dipuo Peters is expected to host a reception dinner for the
Vice-Governor of the peopleâs government of Hunan Province, Dr Gan Lin.
Dr Gan Lin will be accompanied by a delegation of five diplomatic officials
who include the Director-General of the Department of Health and the
Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology from the same
province.
Among other issues, the purpose of the visit is to:
* discuss issues on strengthening the exchanges in industries of science,
technology, health and sports
* gather a better understanding about the management models and operation of
public hospitals and private hospitals in the country
* observe and study the medical quality supervision and evaluation system
* exchange successful experiences in hospital information network.
