Gauteng Health MEC Brian Hlongwa will today, Wednesday, 12 September 2007,
visit the Jabulani and Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospitals' construction projects
to monitor progress.
The constructions are part of the Hospital Revitalisation Programme aimed
at, among other things, improving facilities, infrastructure, organisational
development and equipment, thus improving service delivery in Gauteng.
The Jabulani District Hospital is due for completion in 2009 and will have
300 beds.
At Chris Hani Baragwanath Tertiary Hospital the following units will be
revamped before the end of the 2007/08 financial year:
* accidents, emergency and trauma
* radiology
* pharmacy.

* Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Old Potch Road (Please follow signs of the
temporary entrance from Old Potch Road) at 11h30
