Release of Draft Regulations of Older Persons Act of 2006

The Minister of Social Development, Zola Skweyiya, invites stakeholders and
members of the public to submit their comments on the draft regulations
designed to operationalise the Older Persons Act of 2006.
The notice and regulations will be published in the Government Gazette on 2
November 2007 and interested parties will have 30 days from that date to
comment on the regulations. The gazette will be available at the Government
Printer from 7 November 2007. Interested parties can also obtain the
regulations on http://www.dsd.gov.za.
