The Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport will hold a
one-day 2010 conference at Lagoon Beach Hotel, Milnerton, Cape Town, on Monday,
11 June. The conference is due to start at 9h30 and will end at 17h00. The
conference will focus on the economic impact of 2010 on the Western Cape.
Members of the media are welcome to attend.
Among those scheduled to take part are Western Cape Premier Ebrahim Rasool,
Western Cape MEC for Economic Affairs and Tourism Tasneem Essop, Western Cape
MEC for Tourism and Finance Lynne Brown, South African Football Association
(SAFA) Western Cape and Yvonne Johnson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
International Marketing Council of South Africa.
