Indirect Ownership workshop

The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) released the second phase of
the Codes of Good Practice on BBBEE in December 2005, for public commentary
until 31 March 2006. Comments and recommendations are requested regarding the
appropriate manner of treatment for investments made by:
* Pension Funds
* Provident Funds
* Private Equity
* Property Unity Trusts
* Asset managers
* All other collective investments.
To facilitate the process of gathering these recommendations, the dti is
organising a workshop as detailed below. All parties that are involved in the
above-mentioned industries are invited to participate.
