The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), with the South African
National Accreditation System (SANAS) and the Association of BEE Verification
Agencies (ABVA), will be conducting workshops and training sessions to inform
the BEE verification agencies and/ or prospective BEE verification agencies and
interested parties about the criteria and standards for BEE verification
agencies. During these workshops, the final R47 document (Criteria and
Standards for BEE Verification Agencies) as well as the accreditation procedure
will be discussed.
