appointment of its two top marketing officials

Ms Dudu Ndendwa has been appointed as the Head of Communications and
Marketing for the DTI. She started her marketing career at the SABC in 1994 and
has held various marketing positions since then, working for companies like
Coca-Cola and Transnet. She has also spent some time in advertising as a client
services manager and a communication strategist.
Mr Vukani Mde has been appointed as the Media Spokesperson for the Minister
of Trade and Industry, Mr Mandisi Mpahlwa. He was formerly a political
correspondent for Business Day and was most recently the political editor of
The Weekender. Vukani began his media career as the publicity secretary (media
relations) for the Congress of South African Trade Unions.
