Airways plane crash

Pretoria: South African President Thabo Mbeki today (Saturday, 5 May 2007)
extended the heartfelt condolences of the government and people of South Africa
to the Kenyan and Cameroonian authorities and South Africans who perished
during the crash of a Kenyan Airways flight earlier today.
In a message of support President Mbeki said, "The government and people of
South Africa were shocked to hear of the tragic incident in which a Kenyan
Airways airliner crashed with 105 passengers and nine members on board."
"The thoughts and prayers of the government and people of South Africa are
with the governments and families of those who have lost loved ones," concluded
President Mbeki.
Accordingly the government and people of South Africa extend their heartfelt
condolences to the Kenyan and Cameroonian authorities as well as families of
South Africans who lost their loved ones in the crash.
