President Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow, 19 July 2007, chair the National
Religious Leaders Working Group meeting to take place at the Union Buildings in
Pretoria.
The meeting will discuss progress on the implementation of the Memorandum of
Understanding between Government and National Religious Leaders Forum, moral
regeneration, social cohesion and crime. The last meeting was held on 11 April
2006.
The President will be accompanied by Minister in the Presidency Essop Pahad,
Ministers of Health, Mantombazana Tshabalala-Msimang, Education, Naledi Pandor,
Finance, Trevor Manuel, Agriculture and Land Affairs, Lulama Xingwana, Labour,
Membathisi Mdladlana and Housing, Lindiwe Sisulu.
