President Thabo Mbeki has requested the Speaker of the National Assembly and
the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces to convene a joint sitting
of Parliament on 21 November 2007 at 14h00 to announce a process for
consideration of Presidential Pardons for people who have committed alleged
political offences.
