Working Group meeting

President Thabo Mbeki will Tuesday, 15 May 2007, attend the Presidential
Commercial Agriculture Working Group meeting in Cape Town, Tuynhuys from
11H00-13H00.
It is expected that the meeting will discuss, inter alia, industry
collaboration, biofuels strategy, land reform and the current drought in some
areas of South Africa.
The government delegation will include Ministers of Agriculture and Land
Affairs, Provincial and Local Government, Trade and Industry and Public Works
as well as senior government officials. The agriculture sector delegation will
include Presidents of Agri South Africa (AgriSA), Mr Lourie Bosman, Transvaal
Agricultural Union, Mr P van der Merwe and National African Farmers Union
(NAFU), Mr Motsepe Matlala.
