Manuel to table tax bill

Please be advised that the Minister of Finance, Trevor A Manuel, MP, will
table the Taxation Laws Amendment Bill in Parliament this afternoon. Amongst
the tax proposals contained in the Bill is the request to Parliament to extend
the window period for the Small Business Tax Amnesty, the details of which will
be disclosed by the Minister. The Bill outlines the tax policy changes that
were contained in the 2007 Budget Speech.
