Statistics South Africa invites members of the media to the release of the
Labour Force Survey results. The survey, which was conducted during September
2006, is a biannual household survey specifically designed to measure labour
market issues.
It also provides insight into a variety of issues related to the labour
market, including the level and pattern of unemployment and the industrial and
occupational structure of the economy.
