Postponement of the release of Community Survey Results

The release of Statistics South Africa's (Stats SA) Community Survey results
has been postponed. The organisation has decided to put in place additional
quality assurance processes of the data captured from this survey. It has also
been decided to prepare a wider range of products, catering for a multiplicity
of data users.
As a result, the release of data and associated press conference scheduled
for 10 October 2007 has been postponed until further notice. Details will
follow closer to the time of release.
Stats SA regrets the inconvenience caused by this postponement.
