The SITA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Mavuso Msimang, invites all media
to attend the first ever government organised Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) conference called Government Technology 2006. Dubbed GovTech,
the intention of this conference is to bring together ICT thought leaders from
across the globe to discuss, over a period of three days, and contribute
towards the development of a Public Sector ICT Strategy and Policy.
Participants and speakers are drawn from different sectors including
governments, industry, academia and public sector companies.
Minister of Public Service and Administration, Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi,
will deliver a keynote address on the first day, 30 October 2006, as well as at
the Gala Dinner on 30 October 2006. For more information please also check the
