South African Police Museum at Heritage Services, Volkstem Building, on 20

The South Africa Police Service (SAPS) is hereby inviting the media to cover
the visit by the Zifuneleni Junior Secondary School at Heritage Services,
Volkstem building.
The initiative forms part of the enhancement of the month of September as
Heritage Month. The museum boasts some of the most significant ornaments of the
history of policing in South Africa. Among these are old uniforms and
transportation used the former regime, and the harmful effects of drugs caused
by continual usage.
The school has been adopted by Deputy Minister for Safety Security, Ms Suzan
Shabangu. The visit is part of career guidance initiative. The South African
Police Service is committed to the fight against crime and the enhancement of
service delivery. The learners will be enlightened about the police museum as
part of educative touring.
Media is hereby invited, and interviews and photo sessions will be granted
upon request.
