Two men arrested in multi-million rand sting

In an intelligence driven operation by the South African Police Service's
Organised Crime Unit at Head Office Pretoria, two men were arrested on 12
December 2007, for allegedly being in possession of computer and other
electronic equipment valued at R1 500 000

Twenty five laptops, 10 computers, 15 cellular phones, a hi-fi, numerous
hard drives, computer spares and cloned software were seized as exhibits at
various locations in Pretoria. The two men aged 37 and 29 were charged for
being in possession of property suspected to be stolen and will appear in the
Pretoria Magistrates court on 14 December 2007.

Police investigations are continuing and further arrests are expected
soon.
