South African Government statement on the Algerian bomb

Pretoria: The South African government has expressed its sadness, shock and
outrage at the spate of bomb blasts that hit Algeria, today, Wednesday, 11
April 2007 claiming at least the lives of 17 people with more than 100
sustaining injuries. In this regard, the government strongly condemns this
callous and cowardly act and extends its heartfelt condolences to the
government and the people of Algeria, members and friends of the bereaved
families and wishes those wounded a speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you during this time of grief.
