The SAPS Womenâs Network has, during the 16 Days of Activism of No Violence
Against Women and Children campaign last year (2005) formally adopted the Alma
School for the Severely Handicapped in Eloffsdal, Pretoria.
As part of the Network's continued quest to sensitise, educate and be
involved in our broader communities across all imaginable divides (age, gender,
etc.) on issues such as sexual harassment, HIV/AIDS and the abuse of women and
children, we will be joining children from normal mainstream schools when they
interact with children from Alma School, in a fundraising exercise.
A photo session will be granted on request and it is arranged as
follows:
Venue: Alma School for Disabled Learners, Eloffsdal, Pretoria
Date: 25 March 2006
