South African Police Service (SAPS) outreach programme: Women’s
Network celebrates national Women’s Month on 24 August 2006 at 10h00, Kagiso
old age home Letlhabile Zone 2 near Brits

The South African Police Service Women’s Network programme for the Division:
National Evaluation Service, head office, will take the form of a courtesy
visit at the Kagiso old age home at Letlhabile, Brits in the North West
province. Through this courtesy visit the SAPS Women’s Network wishes to
indicate how it values the elderly, the lonely and indigent. To this end the
Women’s Network undertakes to spend the day at the centre, provide the
residents (about 50) with food and give presents as a token of appreciation.
Senior police officers from head office and the North West province will attend
the occasion. Amongst the dignitaries expected are the Executive Mayor of
Brits, the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Safety and Community
Liaison in the North West and local community leaders.
