KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele invites all media to the
International Children's Day celebration under the theme "Future Society
Through Creative Education," which will be held at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in
Durban on 1 June 2006.
The highlights of the event will feature the launch of "Children's Forum".
The forum will be the voice of the children regarding their concerns and needs
especially at schools.
KwaZulu-Natal will be first province to launch such a forum.
Storyteller Gcina Mhlophe will be addressing children about their participation
and their role in this developing society. All MECs will be present and
children will be given opportunity to interact and ask questions of clarity
about their portfolios.
