KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele will host a first of its kind Alumni
Dinner at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Wednesday evening,
31 May 2006.
The dinner will be attended by movers and shakers in various spheres of life
who are originally from KwaZulu-Natal but are working elsewhere in the country.
This inaugural dinner will take place in Gauteng because most of successful
KwaZulu-Natal Alumni ply their various trades in Gauteng.
The aim of the dinner is to invite these successful alumni to contribute
towards the growth and development of KwaZulu-Natal. The dinner itself would
serve as a platform for government to inform these alumni of the development
projects currently underway and those that are in the pipeline. It will also
serve to showcase the potential that exists in KwaZulu-Natal.
It is hoped that this inaugural dinner will be followed by similar
gatherings in other major centres of the country.
