The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, honourable Sibusiso Ndebele, today joins the
South African national government and the world in extending his and the
KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government's deepest sympathies and condolences to the
people of India following a series of deadly train bomb blast that killed 190
people in Mumbai.
"We are deeply hurt by the anguish caused by the bomb blasts. Our heart goes
out to the families, friends and colleagues of the people affected. We pray for
your safety and the speedy recovery of those injured.
Our government stands with you in this time of mourning. We are confident
that the civilised world will extend its helping hand to the Indian authorities
to quickly apprehend those responsible for these atrocious acts. Those behind
these unspeakable deeds must be brought to book and face the consequences of
their actions," said Premier Ndebele.
