KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sibusiso Ndebele will deliver the keynote address at
the 2007 Premier's Sports Awards on Friday, 2 November 2007, commencing at
18h30 at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC) in
Durban.
The annual Premier's Sports Awards creates a platform where the
KwaZulu-Natal provincial government, through the KwaZulu-Natal Department of
Sport and Recreation, acknowledges the province's outstanding sporting talent
and achievers so as to motivate all sportspersons and associated stakeholders
by lauding their success publicly. There is also a media award category.
As usual, this year's awards function promises to deliver a true
extravaganza. The function will be graced by several dignitaries including
Premier Ndebele as well as KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Sport and Recreation Mr A
Rajbansi.
Media are invited to attend. Please note picture opportunities. Attendance
is by invitation only and therefore all journalists attending must confirm
