KwaZulu-Natal Premier to address the launch of the Black Christ
Paintings and The Spirit of Chief Albert Luthuli Series

KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Honourable Sibusiso Ndebele, will on Saturday, 16
September, deliver a keynote address in a ceremony to launch the Black Christ
Paintings and The Spirit of Chief Albert Luthuli Series.

Sharing the platform with the Premier will be the national Deputy Minister
of Arts and Culture, Ms Thozamile Botha. The launch is organised by Ronald
Harrison's The Black Christ Foundation.

"The theme of the collection of 'The Spirit of Albert Luthuli Series'
captures the pain of our past and reflects hope for the future. The images of
brutality and poverty tell the story of a better day coming."

The launch will take place at:

Venue: Chief Albert Luthuli Museum, Groutville

Members of the media are invited to attend.

Photo opportunities will be available during and after the proceedings. The
