The Premier of Limpopo, Sello Moloto will have the opportunity to receive
nine year old Micaela van der Merwe from Burgersfort who was crowned Little
Miss World recently. The pageant was launched in 2006 and little Micaela became
the first South African to be crowned Little Miss world.
The Premier said that the province was truly blessed to be the home of
Little Miss World and that Micaela had set a shining example which other
children can only emulate. He thanked her parents Mari and Tienie for giving
her all the support she needed to win the crown.
According to the promoters of this event, the main idea behind the
competition is to showcase the beauty, talent and intellect of children all
over the world.
