Polokwane - Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto has condemned the gruesome attack
and murder of four Sivhugwana family members in what appears to be a
premeditated murder case at Tshivhilidulu Village outside Thohoyandou on
Wednesday.
He expressed his disgust in the seeming rise of murder cases in the Vhembe
District and the contempt with which human life is being taken for granted in
that part of the province. We call upon members of the community to work
closely with the police in order to apprehend those responsible for these
heinous acts. The police must stop at nothing to ensure that the perpetrators
of these crimes are speedily brought to book, he said.
The Premier further expressed condemnation of similar reports of the brutal
murder of two women in Lulekani Township in Phalaborwa on Wednesday. Moloto
went on to convey sympathies to relatives and members of the families affected
in these incidences. He emphasised that the communities in the respective areas
affected must work hand in hand with the police to ensure that justice is
done.
