Gauteng Local Government MEC Qedani Dorothy Mahlangu will today, Monday, 28
May 2007, visit the West Rand family who lost three children in an inferno on
Sunday. Accompanied by Head of Disaster Management and Fire Brigade Services in
the department, Colin Deiner, the MEC is visiting the family to express her
deepest condolences and will also meet with emergency service authorities in
the area.
The three boys, Ofentse Molefe, ten, Johnny Ngubeni, seven and Lucky
Modipane, seven were all burnt to death in their aunt's house in Kagiso, west
of Johannesburg.
