Gauteng Local Government MEC Qedani Dorothy Mahlangu and Sedibeng District
Municipality Executive Mayor Mlungisi Hlongwane will brief the media on the
progress made since the Presidential Imbizo held on 16 October 2005.
The MEC, accompanied by departmental senior management, is also visiting the
district municipality to meet with the mayoral committee and senior officials
to have a clear understanding of the plans of the district and the three
municipalities, Emfuleni, Lesedi and Midvaal on how they are aligned to the
provincial and national plans.
