Public Service and Administration to host e-Government Learning Network,

E-Government learning network

The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) invites the media
to an e-Government Learning Network on the 21st May 2007 at the Council for
Industrial and Scientific Research (CSIR) Convention Centre. The purpose of the
e-Government Learning Network is to provide a platform for Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) practitioners and decision makers within the
public service to share information, knowledge, experiences and challenges with
regards to e-Government projects and initiatives.

The theme for this particular learning network is improving service delivery
through the use of mobile technology and online services. Through the learning
network we aim to raise awareness of the advantages of mobile technology to
improve service delivery, to share experiences and expedite (accelerate) the
uptake of mobile technology and online services to improve service
delivery.
