Parliament on public hearings of Portfolio Committee on Trade and
Industry

4 December 2007

The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Trade and Industry (National
Assembly) encourages interested individuals and organisations to submit written
comments on the Standards Bill [B 46 – 2007] and the National Regulator for
Compulsory Specifications Bill [B47 – 2007]. The hearings will be held during
January 2008, however date/s to be confirmed.

Written submissions must be addressed to the Secretary to Parliament of the
Republic of South Africa, PO Box 15, Cape Town 8000 and must reach us no later
than Thursday, 13 December 2007.
