Foreign Ownership of Land

The Panel of Experts, commissioned by the Minister for Agriculture and Land
Affairs Thoko Didiza to investigate the implications of ownership of South
African land by foreigners, invites the members of the international media to a
breakfast.
The Panel, commissioned in 2004 by the Minister, presented the Minister with
the progress report on Friday, 17 February 2006, at the media briefing in
Pretoria.
The report made several, specific recommendations and the media breakfast is
intended to provide the international media with an opportunity to get more
details in terms of the contents, the process leading to the recommendations as
well as the way forward of the report
