Security in Africa

Members of the media are invited to attend the presentation and debate on
Peace and Security in Africa focusing on the Great Lakes region, Darfur, Ivory
Coast and Chad.
The African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security will make the
presentation followed by PAP Chairperson of the Permanent Committee on
Cooperation, International Relations and Conflict Resolution.
The presentation starts at 09h00 tomorrow, 5 May 2006, and will be followed
by open debate until 12h30.
NB: Members of the media, who have not yet applied for their accreditation,
can still do so by submitting their names, ID/Passport numbers and the media
house they represent to Matome.sebelebele@panafricanparliament.org.
