P Mlambo-Ngcuka to teach at old school, 15 May

Deputy President goes back to school

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will go back to her alma mater
Ohlange High School to teach Grade 11 and 12.

She will take up the chalk to teach as part of the Global Campaign for
Education, which emphasises the role of teachers and that education authorities
themselves should go to class to reconnect with learners and the schooling
system. She will focus on the Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for
South Africa (AsgiSA) and Women Empowerment. KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Ina
Cronjé will accompany her.
