Conference on Sustaining Africa's Democratic Momentum

Deputy President Mlambo-Ngcuka will officially launch the International
Conference on Sustaining Africa's Democratic Momentum on Monday, 5 March, at
the Sandton Convention Centre, 10h00.
Speakers at the Opening Session include Dr Brigalia Bam, Chairperson of the
Electoral Commission of South Africa; Professor Alpha Oumar Konare, Chairperson
of the Commission of the African Union; Mr Vidar Helgesen, Secretary-General of
the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA); and
Councillor Amos Masondo, Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg.
