(AU) Conference of Ministers of Health (CAMH)

Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka will on, Tuesday, 10 April 2007,
officially open the 3rd Session of the African Union conference of Ministers of
Health to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg at
19h00.
The AU Conference of Ministers of Health provides an opportunity for African
Health Ministers and partners to share experiences and best practices on how to
improve the health situation in Africa.
The Conference will convene from 9 to 13 April 2007, and the Deputy
President will address it on Tuesday, 10 April.
The outcomes of the meeting will be submitted to the Assembly of African
Union Heads of State and Government.
The theme of the Conference will be "Strengthening Health Systems for Equity
and Development."
