present the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS)

Gauteng MEC for Finance and Economic Affairs, Paul Mashatile, will present
the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement to the legislature. The Statement will
outline adjustments to the 2006/07 Medium Term Expenditure Framework
Budget.
The main focus of the MTBPS will be the allocation of funds to accelerate
the implementation of the provincial government's key priorities which include
higher economic growth, skills development and job creation.
