North West Youth Commission to commemorate Youth Month

The North West Youth Commission will once again engage in Youth Month
activities which will serve as a build up for the 16 June commemoration this
year.

The youth activities will take place under the theme, ‘Age of Hope:
Deepening Youth Participation in Development.’ The main event for the month
will be the 16 June commemoration which will take place in Forchville where all
the youth in the province will gather to commemorate the 30th anniversary of
the Soweto uprising.

Media is invited to a media launch which will take place on Thursday, 01
June 2006, at the Hotel School, Mafikeng at 18h00.

The purpose of this event is to officially launch Youth Month in the
Province and to outline the programme of activities for the Youth of the North
West Province.
