Women's Parliament

Mafikeng: The North West Provincial Legislature will be holding its 3rd
annual Women's Parliament on Wednesday, 8 August 2007 at 10h00. Women (and men)
from across the province will be taking part in this special sectoral
parliament following exhaustive workshops taking place across the province in
all four districts. The 10 women (and men) selected to represent the North West
province in Parliament in Cape Town at the National Women's Parliament taking
place 27 to 28 August 2007 will have been selected at the Provincial Workshop
which is set to take place at the Legislature on 7 August 2007.
The women (and men) will be debating issues such as women and education;
women and the environment; and women and access to land and property.
